Accessibility for the first staircase was difficult and specialist equipment had to be brought in. The staircase also had to be built with a progressive collapse element. Specialist equipment was also required for the complex installation. There were also accessibility issues when constructing and installing the second staircase which had to be fabricated as whole flight units to enable erection in conjunction with the steel frame installer.
